Kasva Jhoff
Kasva Jhoff held a position within the Imperial Navy as a Flight controller. He was stationed on the Super Star Destroyer known as the Executor.
Biography
Born on the planet Abridon, Kasva Jhoff was a human male. His father was Harclew, and he was the grandson of Amnen Jhoff. Upon reaching adulthood, Jhoff was drafted into service within the Imperial Navy. In 4 ABY, he was working as a flight controller on the bridge of the Executor, which served as the personal flagship for Darth Vader. At this time, the ship was in orbit around Endor, alongside the second Death Star, as part of a planned ambush against an approaching Rebel fleet.
As a strike team commanded by Rebel General Han Solo neared the moon aboard a stolen shuttle, Jhoff, under the observation of Fleet Admiral Firmus Piett, hailed the vessel, requesting the correct Imperial authorization codes. While Solo transmitted the codes, Vader, who was standing nearby, sensed the presence of his son, Luke Skywalker, on the shuttle. Vader then approached Jhoff, inquiring about the ship's destination. Piett, leaning in to listen, asked about the shuttle's cargo and intended location, to which Solo replied that they were transporting a parts and technical crew to Endor. After confirming with Piett that the shuttle possessed the appropriate clearance codes, Vader authorized its passage. Consequently, Jhoff reestablished contact with the shuttle, granting them permission to continue on their present course.
Later, during the Battle of Endor, Jhoff remained at his post on the Executor's bridge. His life ended when the ship's bridge deflector shields failed, allowing Arvel Crynyd, a Rebel pilot, to crash his damaged A-wing into the bridge. This resulted in the death of the entire bridge crew, including Jhoff, who was incinerated as he raised his hands in defense.
