Jiik was a Human male from Coruscant and the sibling of Juul. In the year 3643 BBY, both he and his sister were employed as informants within Darmas Pollaran's informant network. While following the criminal Skavak through the territory controlled by the Justicars, he and his sister became separated. Jiik observed members of the Justicars' Brigade meeting with an ambassador representing the reconstituted Sith Empire. Subsequently, he was apprehended and imprisoned within the Justicars' Tower. To free him, his sister enlisted the help of Corso Riggs and the Voidhound, who successfully executed a rescue.
During 3643 BBY, Jiik and his sister resided on Coruscant, the capital world of the Galactic Republic, and were part of Darmas Pollaran's informant network. Pollaran tasked them with tracking the infamous criminal Skavak. While pursuing him through the territory of the Justicars' Brigade, a paramilitary law enforcement group, he and his sister were divided. Jiik continued his pursuit of Skavak, witnessing him enter the Works alongside individuals from the reconstituted Sith Empire. Furthermore, he witnessed the Justicars meeting with another group of Imperials, who were secretly supporting them to further destabilize the Republic. To prevent him from exposing the source of their funding and supplies, the Justicars took him prisoner in Justicars' Tower.
Meanwhile, Juul encountered the gunslinger Corso Riggs and the smuggler later known as the Voidhound, two outlaws who were also pursuing Skavak to settle their scores. She informed them that her brother possessed information about Skavak's whereabouts but was being held captive by the Justicars. The duo proceeded to liberate Jiik, who revealed Skavak's location and explained the circumstances of his capture. Juul communicated with her brother via holocomm, and he decided to remain out of sight for a period. Utilizing Jiik's information, Corso and the Voidhound tracked Skavak into the Works.
Jiik possessed fair skin, dark, closely-shaved hair, and green eyes.
He demonstrated skill in tracking Skavak, maintaining his pursuit even after being separated from his sister. He quickly deduced that the Voidhound was not a Justicar, and believed the best course of action to resolve his predicament with the brigade was to remain inconspicuous.
Jiik's initial appearance is in the 2011 online video game Star Wars: The Old Republic, as a character in the Smuggler storyline on Coruscant. His rescue is the main goal of the quest titled "Due Process".
