Kaleesh combatants were brave and dignified Kaleesh fighters originating from the Outer Rim world of Kalee.
Kaleesh combatants were fierce and honorable soldiers who traditionally wore a fearsome mask, cape, and partial head coverings, which was the custom on their native planet.
In the large-scale, violent struggle against the Yam'rii, an insect-like group from the planet Huk within the same planetary system, on their home planet of Kalee, the Kaleesh military leader Qymaen jai Sheelal, later to be known as "Grievous," led his people. He journeyed and fought with Kalee's finest fighters, the Izvoshra, whom he organized into his powerful personal guard. Each member of the Izvoshra held a leadership position, commanding their own troops. The Kaleesh forces, spearheaded by Grievous with his heightened energy and resolve during the offensive, ultimately forced the Yam'rii to leave their planet and relocate to Huk itself. A string of devastating military operations were initiated, spreading across the desolate Huk planets.
