Kalo'ne

Kalo'ne, a Yokaa female, called the planet Pasaana her home. She operated a DN-25 treadable, using it for the transportation of both passengers and various goods. Her work on this planet spanned many decades, allowing her to witness the Festival of the Ancestors numerous times.

In the year 35 ABY, she provided transport to the reclusive Landonis Calrissian alongside Resistance figures Rey, Finn, Poe Dameron, and Chewbacca. These individuals were visiting Pasaana on a mission with the goal of locating the Sith assassin known as Ochi. Calrissian requested Kalo'ne to drive them to the east passage, a task she successfully completed by delivering the entire group to their destination.

Biography

Working on the planet [Pasaana](/article/pasaana], Kalo'ne was a female Yokaa who drove a DN-25 treadable, carrying both people and cargo. She followed a route with multiple stops across the world, and she would stock her vehicle's cabin with a variety of items from the places she visited. Passengers were welcome to look at the items during their trip, but prices were not listed, and everything was open to negotiation. It seemed that each trip was just long enough for her to make a profitable sale.

By the time it was 35 ABY, Kalo'ne had spent decades operating her treadable, having experienced many Festivals of the Ancestors. She even joked to new visitors that she herself was one of the ancestors being celebrated. The festival was always a busy time for her, as her treadable was in high demand for transportation. Often, riders would trade goods for transport, which Kalo'ne could then sell to other passengers for a profit.

During that year, one particular customer who hired Kalo'ne's vehicle was the isolated Lando Calrissian. He quickly boarded with Resistance members Poe Dameron, Finn, Rey, C-3PO, BB-8 and Chewbacca in order to escape First Order stormtroopers at the festival. Calrissian asked her to drive to the east passage through the sliding opening in her door, a request she agreed to before closing the opening. When the journey concluded, the Resistance members exited the vehicle, leaving Calrissian with Kalo'ne as they continued their search for the Sith assassin Ochi.

Personality and traits

After many years of driving her treadable, Kalo'ne was tough and looked old. She felt most at home in her driving cabin, with her serpentine body wrapped around the steering column. She communicated with customers through the opening in her door or using an old loudspeaker system. She had three [blue](/article/color] tri-lensed eyes that allowed her to see in multiple spectrums. Her skin was gray, and her hair was pink.

Equipment

Kalo'ne wore a red robe and operated a DN-25 treadable. During the Festival of Ancestors in 35 ABY, she was transporting cargo that included hoary digwort fronds, at least two sacks of flint-rind figs, and a bundle of tarp wrapped in reed-twine.
