The Kashyyyk resistance, also known by the names Wookiee resistance or Wookiee underground, constituted a resistance group. This group stood in opposition to the Imperial Occupation of the planet Kashyyyk.
A resistance movement was established by the Wookiees when the Galactic Republic's clone troopers betrayed the Jedi and Wookiees as Order 66 was executed. As the Imperial Military launched their occupation, the Wookiees utilized Oevvaor Jet Catamarans, previously used in the Battle of Kashyyyk, alongside other vehicles.
In 14 BBY, Cal Kestis, a Jedi Padawan, journeyed to Kashyyyk. His purpose was to find Tarfful, the Wookiee Chieftain leading the Kashyyyk resistance and a friend of Eno Cordova. Kestis sought information about his Jedi holocron, which held crucial data for the creation of a new Jedi Order.
According to Tregga, a smuggler, Han Solo was orphaned as a baby and brought up on Kashyyyk. It was here that he met the Wookiee Chewbacca and they became friends, even participating in the Battle of Kashyyyk together. However, Tregga's story was untrue. Solo was actually from Corellia, and he first encountered Chewbacca during the Mimban Campaign.
Warrchallra, a sculptor of wroshyr-wood and a veteran of the Clone Wars, was a member of the Wookiee underground for years, as was Tavris Bahzel, a Clawdite model.
