The Gran senators Philo and [Kharrus], who represented Kinyen within the Galactic Republic Senate throughout the Clone Wars, hailed from Kinyen.
The planet stood out due to its numerous tranquil agricultural communities, one example being the Kemalo Farming Cluster. The abundant agricultural yields from these settlements were marketed and disseminated across numerous regions of the galaxy, reaching even Batuu.
