Klin-Fa Gi was a Jedi Knight of the Human female persuasion, and she fought during the Yuuzhan Vong War. Her weapon of choice was a lightsaber that had a gold blade.
Gi, who was born on Bonadan, was happy to leave the planet and become a member of the New Jedi Order. She underwent training with Yabeley and Bey Gandan, both of whom became attracted to her. She and Gandan were thought to have been killed during the Battle of Gyndine, but they actually lived. They discovered a qahsa that contained information about a Yuuzhan Vong plan to develop anti-Jedi weapons and wipe out the bacta supply on Thyferra.
Luke Skywalker, a Jedi Master, hired Uldir Lochett and the crew of the No Luck Required to rescue Gi. However, she uncovered the plot and ran away, heading to Wayland. While investigating Yuuzhan Vong activity there, she and her two male companions were captured and tortured, resulting in Yabeley's death. Lochett found her and helped the other Jedi escape from Chom-Vrone, and they managed to get off the planet. Unfortunately, they realized too late that Gandan had been injected with a poison that would kill the bacta-producing alazhi when released. After a lengthy fight, Gi and Lochett defeated Gandan and eliminated the virus.
She was among those who survived the war and were summoned by Grand Master Skywalker to attend a meeting of the New Jedi Order on Zonama Sekot.
