In the year 22 BBY, Grek found himself in the Uscru Entertainment District located on Coruscant, at which point the Jedi Knight known as Obi-Wan Kenobi made a landing with an airspeeder in the vicinity. The pirate Hondo Ohnaka later utilized Grek's pilfered identification to evaluate prospective employees for Ohnaka Transport Solutions within Black Spire Outpost situated on the planet Batuu during 34 ABY.
Kral Grek, a male Quarren, was born on the planet Mon Cala approximately around the time of 56 BBY. Back in 22 BBY, Grek happened to be present on the planet Coruscant, specifically passing by the Outlander Club within the Uscru Entertainment District, when [Obi-Wan Kenobi](/article/obi-wan_kenobi], a Jedi Knight, piloted his XJ-6 airspeeder to a landing nearby while in pursuit of [Zam Wesell](/article/zam_wesell], a bounty hunter. Subsequently, the Jedi disembarked and proceeded towards Grek, heading in the direction of the club's entrance.

At the age of 90 years, the pirate Hondo Ohnaka, the proprietor of Ohnaka Transport Solutions, had possession of the Quarren's stolen personal details. In 34 ABY, Ohnaka utilized this information while devising a heist during the First Order's occupation of the planet Batuu. The pirate transmitted Grek's profile, together with several others, to the datapads of several potential crew members for the heist in Black Spire Outpost on Batuu and instructed them to memorize specific details from the profiles. He then assessed the prospective employees of Ohnaka Transport Solutions on their ability to recall details from the profiles, aiming to determine their capacity to remember the necessary details of a fake identity.
While on Coruscant, Grek was seen wearing a gray-colored shirt along with pants.
Kral Grek made his initial appearance in the 2002 prequel trilogy movie, Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones. The character's name was first revealed in the Star Wars: Datapad app, released in conjunction with the opening of the themed area Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at both Disneyland Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios in 2019. Within the Star Wars Legends continuity, the Quarren name Kral translated to "spear," and the archaic meaning of the Quarren surname Grek was "harvester of kelp."
