Krix Kamerat

Krix Kamerat, a human male character, resided on Trymant IV during the era known as the High Republic Era and was the closest companion of Zeen Mrala. Born sometime between the years of 247 and 243 BBY, Krix was brought up by the Elders of the Path with the belief that interacting with the Force was morally wrong. Consequently, he remained ignorant of Mrala's Force-sensitive nature and her desperate attempts to control her inherent abilities. Following the Great Hyperspace Disaster, Trymant IV faced a double threat: an Emergence event and a simultaneous Nihil attack. Krix sought assistance from the pirates. However, the arrival of a Jedi team intending to provide aid caused a schism between Krix and Mrala. This occurred after she was compelled to use her Force powers to defend Bralanak City from falling hyperspace debris, leading Krix to accuse her of deceit.

Fueled by his anger towards what he perceived as his friend's betrayal, Kamerat chose to align himself with the Nihil. He informed Eye Marchion Ro that Mrala was insignificant to him, after Ro reminded him of her perceived deception. As time progressed, Kamerat fully adopted the Nihil's ideology, becoming a favored apprentice of Ro and securing a position within his inner circle as their war with the Republic continued. He grew increasingly ruthless, forcing Mrala and her newfound Jedi allies to pursue her former friend. Despite having always believed her friend would be a source of both joy and sorrow for the galaxy, Mrala was shocked to witness the extent of his descent as he spearheaded a campaign marked by death and devastation throughout the Outer Rim Territories. Kamerat was eventually captured during the battle at Dol'har Hyde, but managed to escape amidst the chaos of the Destruction of Starlight Beacon.
