Leoz was a pirate of the Nikto species, serving within Kragan Gorr's Warbird gang.

A male Nikto individual, Leoz operated as a pirate and held a position within the ranks of the Warbird gang. He could be seen standing in support of Kragan Gorr, the Warbird gang's leader, during a conversation between the Quarren and their First Order superiors following an unsuccessful attack targeting the Colossus. Later, Leoz participated in a second raid carried out on the refueling station. During this assault, he was in the process of pilfering a small crate when Tamara Ryvora, a mechanic, collided with him using a repulsor carrier, causing him to be thrown against a wall. Ryvora left him lying on the floor as the residents of the Colossus moved in to secure the carrier's contents. After the First Order betrayed the pirates, Leoz was present when Valik, another pirate, revealed that she had intercepted an encoded transmission originating from the Colossus, which she then presented to Gorr. This message was found to be a call for assistance sent to the Resistance by Kazuda Xiono.
During the skirmish above D'Qar, Leoz and the other crew members experienced fear as the Galleon nearly crashed into the hangar while acquiring coaxium. Leoz overheard Drell mentioning that Doza was facing a "real mess," which Kragan saw as an opportunity for the gang. Later, after the Warbirds formed an alliance with the Colossus and started residing on the refueling station, Leoz placed a curse on Xiono, fueled by anger over the pilot's winning streak in a gambling game. The pirates had invited Xiono to play, believing he would be an easy target. Xiono retaliated by giving Leoz a talisman he had obtained from Mika Grey, claiming it was cursed.
Leoz possessed orange-toned skin and had one [blue](/article/color] eye, while the other was covered by an eyepatch. He had a reputation for being a poor sport, resorting to placing alleged curses on those who defeated him in games of chance. Additionally, Leoz was superstitious, relying on a pair of dice he believed brought good luck during gambling and also holding beliefs in curses.
Leoz's attire included a portion of a stormtrooper helmet that shielded the lower part of his face, along with some other pieces of armor. The Warbird logo was painted onto his armor. An eyepatch covered Leoz's left eye.
Leoz's initial appearance was in "The Triple Dark," which was the second episode of Star Wars Resistance Season One. His identity was not revealed until the season 2 episode "Kaz's Curse," where his voice was provided by Steve Blum. In the original script for "Kaz's Curse," the character who placed the curse on Kazuda Xiono was initially intended to be a Kassk pirate named Vusk, but the crew ultimately decided to use Leoz instead.
