Livette

Livette, a Hapan of stern countenance, eschewed the typical Hapan preoccupation with appearances. She made it a point to leave her graying hair untouched, and a blaster wound scar across her cheek remained a permanent fixture. As a General commanding Her Majesty's Select Commandos, a Hapan Special forces unit, she served the Queen Mother on the Hapan world of Shedu Maad. Furthermore, she was under suspicion for aiding Remnant forces by divulging the location of a clandestine hangar.

Biography

In the year 40 ABY, Trista Zel, an officer within Hapan Security, instructed Livette to establish a comlink connection to the Hapan Battle Dragon Deserving Gem in orbit. She was to have the communications officer patch her through to Ducha Requud, the third in line for the Hapan throne. Livette complied, opening the channel, only for Requud's desperate pleas for her life to be heard. Livette then reported hearing of a female Jedi infiltrating the Jedi Coalition's defenses with a squad of Elite Guard stormtroopers.

Both Trista and her twin sister, Taryn Zel, harbored suspicions that Livette had provided the Imperial Remnant with the coordinates of a concealed shaft leading to an underground hangar on Shedu Maad, where Jedi starfighters were being refueled and rearmed. They also suspected Livette of authorizing the breach of their perimeter.

Trista remained behind to safeguard Livette, anticipating potential difficulties for Taryn and Ben Skywalker (a Jedi Knight and son of Luke Skywalker) in dealing with the Remnant's stormtroopers. She sought to avoid a repeat of Ducha Requud's unfortunate demise, which resulted from her betrayal of the Queen Mother.

Subsequently, Livette suggested that Taryn and Ben take a squad of Her Majesty's Commandos.

Personality and traits

Livette dedicated her life to serving her homeworld, Hapes, as a soldier. Her allegiance was unwavering, directed towards the rightful successor of Her Majesty Tenel Ka Djo, should the need for a successor ever arise.

Despite her loyalty to the Queen Mother title, she willingly betrayed Tenel Ka by granting the Imperial Remnant access to the Coalition perimeter on Shedu Maad.

Uncharacteristically for a Hapan, Livette made no effort to enhance or alter her physical appearance. She allowed her hair to remain gray, deviating from the natural Hapan red hair color, and openly displayed an old blaster wound scar on her cheek as a badge of honor.

Behind the scenes

Livette's sole appearance occurred in Troy Denning's 2008 novel, Legacy of the Force: Invincible. Within the narrative, Livette is presented as one of the supporting characters.
