Locphet was a Sith Lord of old, with his image carved into the citadel's stone on Exegol around 35 ABY. Kylo Ren, who was the Supreme Leader of the First Order and Master of the Knights of Ren, journeyed to Exegol to face Darth Sidious. During this visit, he passed through the Sith Citadel and identified several statues of Sith Lords etched into the walls, figures he knew from his studies. Among them were Felkor, Mindran, Sissiri, Naga Sadow, and Locphet. While present, Kylo Ren could hear their incomprehensible murmurs, alongside the recognizable voice of Sidious, which he had been hearing since his youth.
VaneƩ, an Acolyte of the Beyond and devoted servant to Darth Vader, exclaimed "thank Locphet" to show his joy at being liberated from the dungeons of Vader's castle following the Battle of Endor.
The initial reference to Locphet in Star Wars occurred in Michael Kogge's 2020 novel, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: A Junior Novel.
