Lu-reen Faraday

Lady Lu-reen Faraday, hailing from Chandrila, was the female successor to the Faraday family's business, known as Faraday Spirits. For a period, she was the lover of Axel Greylark, who was the son of Kyong Greylark, the Supreme Chancellor of the Republic. She presented him with a valuable bottle of Chandrilan whiskey. Their relationship ended when he left her at a spaceport, an event that was covered by news holos. Seeking refuge from the media attention, Axel went to Raik's Parlor, a gambling establishment, where he briefly discussed Faraday with both Raik, the Utai proprietor, and a Mirialan customer.

Biography

Axel Greylark (pictured) was romantically involved with Lu-reen Faraday, though they eventually split.

During the High Republic Era, Lady Lu-reen Faraday, a Chandrilan female, lived her life. In the year 382 BBY, she stood as the designated inheritor of Faraday Spirits, the beverage company owned by her family. Meanwhile, her father held the position of a senator within the Republic. At some juncture, Faraday encountered Axel Greylark, the son of Kyong Greylark, the Supreme Chancellor of the Republic. She introduced herself using the slogan associated with Faraday Spirits. Eventually, the two became romantically linked, and Axel dedicated some of his time to visiting her.

Following an accident involving transportation that resulted in the destruction of all but three hundred bottles of a particular Chandrilan whiskey variety, Faraday decided to present one of the surviving bottles to Axel. This gift was valued at over a thousand credits. Despite this lavish present, he terminated their relationship shortly after, choosing to abandon her at a spaceport as he was hesitant to commit to a serious relationship. The breakup received extensive coverage from news holos in the aftermath. In an attempt to distance himself from the situation, Axel took the Chandrilan whiskey from the woman to Raik's Parlor, a gambling den located on Coruscant, a planet situated in the Core Worlds, and proceeded to consume the drink from his personal flask.

While Axel was engaged in conversations with others regarding the beverage in his flask, his thoughts drifted towards his former lover and her connection to Faraday Spirits. He recalled her initial introduction, which involved the company's slogan, and the fact that her father was a senator. Raik, the Utai owner of the establishment, along with a Mirialan patron, engaged in a discussion about Faraday. They speculated that she might desire Axel's death and commented on the perceived silliness of her name. Axel cautioned them against believing everything they saw in the tabloids, while admitting that he had ended the relationship with the heiress after failing to meet her at the spaceport.
