Lys' Creature Caper

Lys must follow various clues in order to recapture an adorable creature that has gone astray within the Jedi Temple.

Lys Solay pays a visit to Nash Durango and RJ-83 at the Jedi Temple located on Tenoo. Nash and RJ are in the process of repairing their starship, the Crimson Firehawk. Durango informs Solay that she's transporting a tooka kitten to the animal preserve that's situated outside of town. As the younglings are conversing, the tooka becomes fascinated by a fluttering blue insect and manages to unlock the button on its container, leading to its escape.

Durango and Solay soon realize the tooka is gone. Solay suggests that Durango and RJ continue with their ship repairs while she undertakes the task of locating the missing tooka. The blue insect guides the tooka into the Temple's courtyard, where Kai Brightstar is engaged in practice with his green lightsaber. The tooka then jumps onto Brightstar, causing him to be startled. Solay then arrives and explains that she is in search of the tooka kitten. Brightstar provides Solay with directions, and she quickly departs in pursuit of the kitten.

Solay's pursuit of the tooka kitten leads her into the mess hall. The kitten then leaps onto a table, causing Solay to give chase, resulting in food being scattered. Solay then utilizes her Force abilities to prevent a tray from falling on a brown-haired human girl. Nubs attempts to catch the insect, however, the tooka kitten runs past his bowl, scattering red noodles all over his face. Nubs then proceeds to slurp up the noodles.

Solay's chase eventually takes her into a bedroom, where she finally manages to recapture the tooka kitten. After placing the kitten back into its container, Solay reassures it that it will experience new enjoyment at its new home. Durango expresses her gratitude to Solay for recovering the kitten, which prompts Solay to respond that a Jedi is always eager to assist. Before departing, she gently strokes the kitten.
