During the Galactic War, a conflict between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire that had been reborn, Min-Reva functioned as a soldier within the Republic Army. In the year 3640 BBY, Min-Reva became a member of Sergeant Shanra Immel's squad. Together with SpecForce Colonel Jace Malcom, Min-Reva participated in a battle that took place on Kalandis Seven, a desolate planet located in the Inner Rim. As the battle progressed, the squad received orders to eliminate the Imperial-controlled spaceport present on the planet. The squad came under attack while en route to the spaceport, resulting in injuries to Corporal Amden vor Keioidian. Min-Reva and the squad finally arrived at the spaceport after a duration of three hours. They then proceeded to deploy targeting beacons that would guide Republic starfighters in destroying the spaceport, despite the presence of fog. The Republic starfighters successfully destroyed the spaceport shortly after the squad completed the placement of the final beacon.
The first appearance of Min-Reva was in audio form in "The Last Battle of Colonel Jace Malcom," a short story written by Alexander Freed. This story was featured in issue number 137 of the Star Wars Insider magazine, which was released on October 23, 2012.
