This particular operation unfolded during the night and was spearheaded by Rhys Dallows, an integral member of Bravo Flight. It transpired amidst the Trade Federation's onslaught on Naboo. Following their assault on a Trade Federation convoy in the planet's orbit, he and his comrades successfully secured provisions for the Naboo resistance. His present aim was to transport these crucial supplies to the resistance fighters, navigating through the winding canyons near the city of Theed. However, the Trade Federation Droid Army had established a blockade within the canyon, compelling Dallows to engage and overcome numerous enemy vehicles to ensure the safe landing of the Toydarian Reti and the delivery of the much-needed resources.
Following the theft of valuable cargo from the Trade Federation by a coalition of Naboo aviators and spacefarers during the Invasion of Naboo in the year 32 BBY, the pilots established contact with the resistance forces stationed on the planet. Rhys Dallows committed to delivering the acquired supplies to them, escorting Reti, the individual responsible for transporting the cargo. He arranged a meeting with other Naboo units, but upon their failure to appear, he surmised they were in peril and that he needed to navigate the canyons to reach the resistance base. When Reti expressed unease about flying through the canyon, Dallows reassured the Toydarian, affirming his prior experience in those very canyons.
Almost at once, Dallows and Reti found themselves under attack from Trade Federation patrols searching for the base, but the pair persevered in their flight through the canyon. At the first open area, Dallows neutralized a dropship attempting to deploy additional battle droids. After eliminating the tanks and troop transports that had already landed, he and Reti pressed onward through the canyon. Upon reaching the second clearing, Dallows destroyed another dropship and more droids. Guiding Reti into the canyon's depths, he cautioned that the passage would become increasingly narrow. The Federation had strategically positioned Turret Mines within that section of the canyon. Dallows proceeded to destroy the mines while Reti anxiously requested an escort.
Having successfully navigated the minefield, the two pilots entered the third clearing and encountered the Resistance, who were engaged in combat with their N-1 starfighters against Scarab droid starfighters and AMTs. Dallows provided assistance in eliminating the opposition, and subsequently received an urgent distress call from the base located further down the canyon, which was under intense droid assault. The Resistance Laser turrets were actively firing upon troop transports and tanks when Dallows and the other pilots arrived, and their combined firepower swiftly eradicated the attacking force. Reti arrived and delivered the critically needed supplies, and both he and Dallows pledged their continued support to the resistance. They would soon be presented with such an opportunity.
This mission, entitled "Midnight Munitions Run," was featured in the Star Wars: Starfighter video game, where Rhys Dallows serves as one of the central characters. The optional bonus objective involves the destruction of all Trade Federation dropships and AMTs.
