A quest to the world of Tatooine happened sometime following the battle on Nevarro, where the Mandalorian mercenary Din Djarin followed a tip from Gor Koresh that pointed him to another Mandalorian on that world. Djarin learned that the Mandalorian he was searching for was, in reality, the town's lawman and chief Cobb Vanth, who had previously obtained Boba Fett's armor and donned it to protect the settlement of Mos Pelgo. An agreement was reached between Djarin and Vanth: Vanth would relinquish the armor to Djarin if Djarin assisted in killing a native giant krayt dragon. Djarin, Vanth, the inhabitants of Mos Pelgo, and members of a neighboring clan of Sand People joined forces to defeat the beast that had been plaguing their area of the planet.
