A male bounty hunter of the Kajain'sa'Nikto race engaged in combat with Din Djarin on the desert world of Tatooine, with the intention to capture Grogu. He had three allies: Biran Redben, a helmeted male humanoid, and a diminutive alien from the same species as Scrapjaw Motito. Their efforts were unsuccessful, resulting in the Nikto being rendered unconscious by the Mandalorian.

Around 9 ABY, this hunter of bounties, who was a Nikto, collaborated with another hunter wearing a helmet to set up a trap in a Tatooine valley. Their objective was to seize Grogu from Din Djarin. As the Mandalorian approached, the hunters yanked a hidden rope, causing Din and Grogu to be thrown from their Zephyr-J speeder bike. The Mandalorian survived the crash by using his jetpack to regain his balance. The Nikto bounty hunter, failing to subdue his target, pursued his helmeted partner and began shooting at Din Djarin. Shortly after, Biran Redben emerged from behind a boulder, engaging Din Djarin in close combat and relieving him of his blaster pistol. In an attempt to assist their comrade, who had just been cut in the neck with a vibro-knife, the Nikto and his helmeted companion engaged the Mandalorian in hand-to-hand combat. This struggle was brief, however, as Din Djarin used his whipcord launcher to seize the blaster rifle from the Nikto's diminutive alien accomplice, who was attempting to shoot the Mandalorian, and used it to knock him out.
This male bounty hunter belonged to the Kajain'sa'Nikto, a subspecies of the sentient humanoid Nikto race. His skin was beige and leathery, and he possessed brown eyes. The bounty hunter also had short, bone-like protrusions around his head and chin. Before his confrontation with Din Djarin, the Mandalorian bounty hunter, the Nikto demonstrated some skill in setting up a makeshift trap by hand. He also displayed proficiency with a blaster rifle, maintaining accuracy throughout his engagement with the Mandalorian.

During his fight with Din Djarin, the Mandalorian bounty hunter, the Kajain'sa'Nikto wore a maroon jumpsuit, resembling a flight suit, with netting around his neck. Additionally, he was equipped with a white utility belt and used a scoped blaster rifle that fired red blaster bolts.
The male Kajain'sa'Nikto bounty hunter was conceived for, and debuted in, "Chapter 10: The Passenger," the second installment of the second season of The Mandalorian, which premiered on November 6, 2020. Although the episode doesn't explicitly identify the Nikto as a bounty hunter, the audio description confirms that he and his companions are hunters.
