Myrra, home to approximately one million residents, functioned as the capital city located on the Outer Rim planet of Akiva. This urban center was a sprawling and congested area, characterized by buildings with peculiar angles that jutted out from the surrounding jungles. Situated beneath the city was an abandoned droid factory, previously utilized to manufacture battle droids for the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars when they controlled Akiva, decades before the Cold War era. This factory was constructed within a network of catacombs that stretched beneath the city, rumored to potentially house a Jedi Temple, a Sith trap, a Hutt breeding ground, or even the original settlements of the Uugteen. The ruling entity of Akiva, known as the Satrapy of Myrra, maintained its headquarters within a grand palace located in Myrra.
The bala-bala, a compact speeder designed for transportation, was a common sight in Myrra, enabling residents to navigate the narrow streets and channels while also serving as a means to lift crates.
Following the Battle of Endor which took place in 4 ABY, the Imperial Future Council convened an emergency conference in Myrra, seeking to strategize about the future path of the Galactic Empire. However, their assembly was disrupted by a coalition of rebels and bounty hunters, who instigated turmoil within the city, ultimately leading to the downfall of the Satrap's governance.
