Watto, a junk dealer of the Toydarian species, maintained a Toydarian N'Omis flower on the trophy shelf of his junkshop's in Mos Espa during 32 BBY. This flower was housed within a dome in Watto's shop, which was cooled to counteract the heat of the desert planet Tatooine, and even featured a Toydarian muck lake [atmosphere](/article/atmosphere] to serve as Watto's nest. The red-colored N'Omis flower, a part of Watto's podrace memorabilia collection, hung limply from a cone-shaped container affixed to the junkshop wall.
The reference book Inside the Worlds of Star Wars: Episode I (Star Wars Legends), mentions the N'Omis flower. Dorling Kindersley published it in 2000, and Kristin Lund wrote it, with illustrations by Richard Chasemore and Hans Jenssen. The canon status of both the illustration and the name of the N'Omis flower was established in 2016 when Dorling Kindersley released the reference book Star Wars: Complete Locations, which incorporated content from Inside the Worlds of Star Wars: Episode I.
