Nar Hida
Nar Hida was a human of Luptoomian descent. In 22 BBY, he departed the planet of Coruscant as a freighter tramper aboard the Jendirian Valley, an AA-9 Freighter-Liner. Originating from Westport on Coruscant, the freighter's destination was Naboo, a planet situated in the Mid Rim. During the voyage, Hida found himself in the cargo hold, seated against a wall of the starship while flatcakes were being served. Sporting a spiked green cloak, his Luptoomian style made him stand out in contrast to other passengers, like the Jedi Anakin Skywalker and Senator Padmé Amidala who were disguised as commoners. He was characterized by fair skin and blue eyes.
Behind the scenes
Nar Hida made an appearance in Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones, a film from the 2002 prequel trilogy. The scene's filming took place at Fox Studios, Sydney, specifically within building 48's art department depot. Within established Star Wars canon, the character's identity was revealed in "AA-9 Coruscant Starfreighter," an article featured in the "Starship Fact File" section of Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon 50 magazine. Tim Veekhoven authored the article, which was released around December 16, 2015.
The name's origin lies within the Star Wars Legends continuity. There, Gregory Walker, using the username "NarbFlick," initially identified the character through the "What's The Story?" feature, published on September 28, 2006 on StarWars.com's Hyperspace feature.
