Nemenov

Nemenov served as a rebel pilot during the Galactic Civil War, operating an X-wing starfighter for the Rebel Alliance's 61st Mobile Infantry. The Braha'tok-class gunship named Apailana's Promise was their assigned ship, which accompanied the 61st's troop transport, the CR90 corvette Thunderstrike, and carried the company's pair of X-wings attached to its underside. Both Nemenov and the other X-wing pilot vowed to never step foot on the troop carrier.

While the Thunderstrike and Apailana's Promise were undergoing repairs on the planet Ankhural in 3 ABY, Nemenov made a rare appearance amongst the 61st's soldiers at a cantina after the funeral of the company's captain, Micha Evon. The pilot was puzzled when First Sergeant Hazram Namir attempted to suggest that the other soldiers would only fight in memory of Evon, which led Namir to rephrase his statement for clarity. As their discussion progressed, Namir began to find Nemenov irritating.
