Ostar-Gal
Ostar-Gal was a Jedi Master of the Kel Dor species, and a male, who dedicated himself to the service of both the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic. His service occurred during the period encompassing the Great Galactic War and the subsequent Cold War against the Sith Empire which had been reborn.
Biography
Being Force-sensitive, Ostar-Gal, a Kel Dor, underwent training in the ways of the Force under the guidance of the Jedi Order, eventually achieving the esteemed rank of Jedi Master. Renowned as both a Consular and a Lore Keeper, Master Ostar-Gal held the distinguished position of Chief Librarian within the Jedi Archives, which were housed within the Jedi Temple located on Tython. He was a known associate of Master Yuon Par.
Behind the scenes
Prior to being removed from the game, Master Ostar-Gal initiated the quest "Advanced Training: Jedi Consular" for those playing as Jedi Consulars who had finished the planet storyline of Tython in the 2011 video game Star Wars: The Old Republic. In this quest, he guided players to Master Dynaroth, who served as their Advanced Class trainer. Ostar-Gal was an NPC that could be found both in the Senate District of Coruscant and aboard Carrick Station. The game's dialogue files indicate that Ostar-Gal was initially conceived as Gnost-Dural, a character featured in the Galactic Timeline videos.
