Toren crime family

The criminal organization known as the Toren crime family, alternatively referred to as Papa Toren's group, was under the control of the crime lord Toren and operated during the Galactic Empire's rule. The criminal syndicate Crimson Dawn, which had resurfaced, disseminated a piece of misinformation throughout the criminal community between 3 ABY and 4 ABY: the Galactic Emperor Sheev Palpatine desired to terminate the Empire's alliance with the Hutt Clan following the Grand Hutt Council's act of treachery in assaulting the Executor, the flagship belonging to his Sith apprentice and warlord, Darth Vader. Qi'ra, addressed as Lady and the head of Crimson Dawn, dispatched her advisor Trinia to Papa Toren's hideout on Castell to notify Toren, implying he would be seeking a different ally to initiate the Syndicate War. Following Trinia's visit at some point, an informant within Toren's organization, who had contact with Sliro Barsha, the Director of the Imperial Security Bureau, informed the Director about Crimson Dawn's involvement, leading Palpatine to understand Crimson Dawn's goal of destroying the Sith.
