Pash Cracken's protocol droid

A protocol droid of silver hue was in the service of Major Pash Cracken of the Galactic Alliance Defense Fleet by 29 ABY, which was the concluding year of the Yuuzhan Vong War. This [droid](/article/protocol_droid/legends], along with its master, found themselves among a group of Galactic Alliance members held as prisoner by the Yuuzhan Vong—an extra-galactic species of religious fanatics waging conflict against the known galaxy—at a [prison](/article/prison/legends] facility located on the planet Selvaris. Cracken's capture occurred during a battle at the Bilbringi Shipyards towards the end of the previous year. The droid assessed the likelihood of a successful escape from the facility to be approximately one in a million. Soon after, it was one of a few dozen droids that were publicly burned and destroyed by Yuuzhan Vong priests of the prison in a fire pit situated outside the compound's entrances. Despite its estimations, a number of prisoners later managed to escape with assistance from the intelligence-gathering Ryn Network, an organization whose existence on Selvaris was unknown to the protocol droid.
