Pastoria, the homeworld of the Pastorians, was a planet situated within the Outer Rim Territories of the galaxy. Prior to the crash of the High Republic cruiser Castellan on Toshara, a technician hailing from this planet was serving on board the vessel, specifically in 232 BBY. Later, Black Squadron journeyed to Pastoria, tasked with a mission to assemble allies for the Resistance, hoping to enlist Siroc, their king, in their struggle against the First Order. During their time on Pastoria, Black Squadron was manipulated into assisting Siroc in the kill of the individual who posed the closest rival to his throne. This was done so that, upon the First Order's arrival, Siroc could negotiate with them instead of his rival, who would resist and potentially lead to the demise of the Pastorians.
