Peerless

The Peerless functioned as an Imperial-class Star Destroyer within the Imperial Navy throughout the duration of the Galactic Civil War. This Star Destroyer, with its substantial 1,600-meter length, was equipped with sublight engines, a dedicated hangar space, and a pair of deflector shield generator domes.

Sometime between the years of 3 ABY and 4 ABY, Melchior Votto, an operative of the Imperial Security Bureau, orchestrated a meeting with Raslin Grace, a bounty hunter, aboard the Peerless. He had promised the hunter a target that would be both enjoyable and worthy of her time. Grace proceeded down one of the Star Destroyer's hallways singing, before encountering Votto inside a chamber filled with various consoles. Votto informed the bounty hunter that her singing was not part of their agreement, to which Grace responded that she was not currently being compensated for anything at all. Following this, she inquired about the job that Votto required her to undertake. The Imperial then questioned the hunter regarding her knowledge of Chelli Lona Aphra, the archaeologist, while simultaneously displaying a hologram of her. Grace then declared that the bounty seemed appealing, and she ultimately accepted the assignment.
