Persha was a female Fian who held the position of Primate in Al'solib'minet'ri City located on the planet of Galantos. In 28 ABY, Fian Councilor Jobath Knox assigned Persha the duty of welcoming Leia Organa Solo and Han Solo, along with the rest of a delegation from the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances, upon their arrival on Galantos. Following the initial greetings, Persha delegated the responsibility for the guests' well-being to Assistant Primate Thrum.
Persha, a female Fian native to the planet Galantos situated near the Koornacht Cluster, had risen to the rank of Primate within Al'solib'minet'ri City by the year 28 ABY. At that time, the New Republic, formerly the galaxy's most influential governing body, had collapsed during an invasion launched by the extra-galactic Yuuzhan Vong, and its successor, the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances, was still at war with these invaders. In that year, the Fia decided to strike a bargain with the Yuuzhan Vong, aiming to eliminate the threat posed by the xenophobic Yevetha species residing nearby, and the Yuuzhan Vong fulfilled their part of the agreement. Due to the Fia's alliance with the invaders, communication with the Galactic Alliance was severed, leaving the other government in the dark regarding the events unfolding on Galantos.
The communication disruption in the Galantos region, coupled with intelligence from the Ryn Network, a data-gathering organization, prompted a small Galactic Alliance task force, led by Leia Organa Solo, the former Chief of State of the New Republic, and her husband, Han Solo, to travel to Galantos to investigate the situation. Fian Councilor Jobath Knox became alarmed upon learning of the impending arrival of the Galactic Alliance representatives. Fearing the discovery of their pact with the Yuuzhan Vong, Knox delegated the responsibility of greeting the visitors on behalf of their government's to Persha. Persha, accompanied by a group of other Fia, welcomed the members of the Galactic Alliance delegation—including Organa Solo, her spouse, Jedi Knight Tahiri Veila, pilot Jagged Fel, and the protocol droid C-3PO—as they disembarked from the freighter Millennium Falcon and a clawcraft starfighter in Al'solib'menit'ri City.
Persha, citing other obligations as an excuse for Knox's absence, escorted the Galactic Alliance representatives to their guest suites, providing them with essential information regarding their visit. After departing from the group, Persha, also feeling apprehensive, entrusted Assistant Primate Thrum with the ongoing interactions with the representatives. Ultimately, the Galactic Alliance group uncovered the Fia's agreement with the Yuuzhan Vong, although the Fia's allies turned against them shortly after the arrival of the Galactic Alliance task force. Twin Suns Squadron and the Lancer-class frigate Pride of Selonia, both affiliated with the Galactic Alliance, assisted in defeating a Yuuzhan Vong battle group dispatched to enslave the Fia, thereby saving the population of Galantos.
As a Fia, Persha possessed elongated features, webbed feet, and long arms. Her voice was described as musical and high-pitched, and she had a tendency to be quite talkative. During the welcoming ceremony for the Galactic Alliance representatives, Persha maintained a continuous flow of information regarding the newcomers' stay as they were escorted to their accommodations. Similar to Jobath Knox, Persha sought to distance herself from the representatives as quickly as possible in an attempt to conceal the details of the Fia's pact with the Yuuzhan Vong.
