Predavorexxes were a species indigenous to the planet of Numidian Prime, characterized by their great height and bipedal stance, and also by their hairy bodies. These creatures were significantly larger than Weequays, and were easily identifiable by their prominent horns, red eyes, and patches of long gray hair on their bodies.
In 22 BBY, a human boy named Wilmar, who was aboard the luxury liner Halcyon, repeatedly asked his father, Colram Vestig, to fulfill his promise of taking him on a safari to Numidian Prime to observe the native Predavorexxes; however, Vestig declined his request.
Wilmar's desire was unexpectedly fulfilled when he was abducted by a group of Weequays and transported to Numidian Prime. A Predavorexx then launched an attack on bounty hunter Aurra Sing, who was there in an attempt to rescue Wilmar at his father's request. One of the Weequays, whom Sing had forced to lead her to the boy, was bisected by the Predavorexx, which prompted a Hutt who was present to place a bet on the creature successfully killing Sing. However, after fleeing from the Predavorexx, Sing managed to eliminate it with a shot from her blaster rifle. One of the Hutts present was displeased by Sing's killing of the Predavorexx, while the other was upset about losing their bet. Later, bounty hunter Zam Wesell arrived to offer assistance to Aurra Sing, jokingly attributing her lateness to placing bets on the Predavorexx.
The first appearance of Predavorexxes was in Star Wars: Halcyon Legacy, specifically in the second issue of the 2022 comic book series, which was penned by Ethan Sacks.
