Puerco sticks were a variety of stick-like object.
During 9 BBY, the hunter Mosey Cimmaron cautioned the human Jedi Knight Cal Kestis about the mogu known as the Mire Terror, stating that this creature could break his arms off with the same ease as snapping puerco sticks. This warning occurred when Cimmaron was describing the monster.
Within established Star Wars canon, the reference to puerco sticks appears in an interaction that is not required for the main story in the 2023 video game, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, developed by Respawn Entertainment. Conversely, in the Star Wars Legends continuity, the term "puerco" was used in the second issue of the Star Wars: X-Wing Rogue Squadron comic-book series, which was authored by Michael A. Stackpole and Mike Baron and released on August 8, 1995. Out-of-universe, the word "puerco" translates to pig in Spanish.
