Quor'sav

The Quor'sav were a sentient species that utilized at least two long, stilt-like legs for locomotion. In 0 BBY, one of these beings could be found in Mos Eisley on the planet of Tatooine, specifically on the day that Luke Skywalker completed the sale of his landspeeder to a Vuvrian named Wioslea. The Trandoshan bounty hunter known as Bossk'wassak'Cradossk once aided a Quor'sav narcotics agent on the celestial body Uaua sometime before or during 3 ABY. Later, when Bossk confronted his sister, Doshanalawook, aboard the gunship called Liswarr, he noticed that her projector console displayed a comprehensive personal history about him, which included a reference to the Quor'sav agent.

Behind the scenes

The 1977 film, Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, marked the initial appearance of the Quor'sav. The video "Every Alien Species in the Original Trilogy" from Star Wars By the Numbers in 2019 provided the first canonically identification of the species. Within the Star Wars Legends continuity, the Quor'sav were identified as a sentient species possessing both avian and monotreme characteristics, first appearing in the Premiere Limited base set of the Star Wars Customizable Card Game released in December of 1995. Furthermore, the cards identified Kal'Falnl C'ndros as the individual to whom the legs seen in A New Hope belonged.
