Ramesh

The Ramesh constituted a kajidic of the Hutt species, operating within the territories of Hutt Space. This kajidic acted as a benefactor to Sidon Ithano, a Delphidian privateer, who also received support from the Desilijic, Besadii, Gnuda, and Shell kajidics.

Ithano possessed a letter of marque that displayed the Ramesh name, along with the names of his other patrons. This document authorized him to execute raids using his CSS-1 Corellian Star Shuttle, known as the Meson Martinet, along established hyperlanes in Hutt Space—specifically Ootmian Pabol, the Pabol Hutta, and the Shag Pabol—and to subsequently deliver any captured goods to those who sponsored him.

Behind the scenes

Within the official Star Wars canon, the Ramesh kajidic was initially referenced in a bonus item included with the deluxe version of Star Wars: Smuggler's Guide, a 2018 reference work authored by Daniel Wallace. This kajidic originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned in The Black Sands of Socorro, a 1997 Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game supplement written by Patricia A. Jackson and published by West End Games.
