Shell was a Hutt kajidic which, together with Desilijic, Besadii, Gnuda, and Ramesh, acted as a sponsor for the Delphidian privateer known as Sidon Ithano. Ithano received a letter of marque from Shell and the other kajidics, an authorization that allowed him to carry out raids and transport goods using his CSS-1 Corellian Star Shuttle, the Meson Martinet, along various hyperspace trade routes located within Hutt Space, notably the Ootmian Pabol, Pabol Hutta, and the Shag Pabol.
