A plaza square existed within the city of Raxulon, which served as the capital of the Confederacy of Independent Systems on the planet Raxus Secundus. During the year 19 BBY, this plaza square became the gathering point for a multitude of affluent Separatist backers, who assembled to listen to a speech by Confederate leader Count Dooku. This address was part of a celebratory gala organized to commemorate him being presented with the Raxian Humanitarian Award. Following the Separatist's loss at the conclusion of the Clone Wars, Raxus came under the dominion of the Galactic Empire. Subsequently, the square was occupied by citizens as Imperial Captain Bragg and Senator Avi Singh addressed the assembled populace.
The 2015 novel titled Dark Disciple, authored by Christie Golden, featured the plaza square. This novel was derived from an incomplete eight-episode narrative arc intended for the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, with writing credits attributed to Katie Lucas, Matt Michnovetz, and Dave Filoni.
