Renaad, a male resident of the planet Vuundalla, lived during the High Republic Era. He was the father of Mina. Both Renaad and Mina, along with the other villagers, were under the rule of King Pychor Vuundir and Queen Dafne Vuundir, who showed minimal concern for their well-being. Following a destructive groundquake that ravaged Renaad's village, Jedi Master Zia Zaldor Zanna and Jedi younglings Kai Brightstar, Lys Solay, and Nubs arrived to assist, offering to procure essential supplies. Despite Pychor and Dafne's reluctance to provide aid, the Jedi younglings successfully persuaded Prince Cyrus Vuundir to gather resources for the village's reconstruction. Consequently, Cyrus developed a rapport with the villagers, including Renaad and Mina, earning their esteem.
Subsequently, Renaad and Mina were there when Cyrus showed his Jedi companions Brightstar, Solay, and Nubs around the village, which was in the process of being rebuilt. Renaad mentioned that the village's fathiers had grown fond of Cyrus because of his frequent visits. Soon after, the Comet Runners pirate group attacked the village and took the fathiers. Cyrus and the Jedi then set out to save the fathiers. After Cyrus took on his pirate identity as Taborr Val Dorn and beat the Comet Runners, the Jedi gave the fathiers back to the villagers. Renaad expressed his gratitude to Cyrus for his help, and Mina offered to teach him how to ride a fathier.
