Rynog Asokaji, a Bith of the male persuasion, served as the trusted aide-de-camp to Admiral Nek Bwua'tu, the esteemed Chief of the Galactic Alliance Navy. Following a failed assassination attempt that plunged Bwua'tu into a comatose state, Asokaji initially suspected Chief of State Natasi Daala of orchestrating the attack as retribution for Bwua'tu's clandestine negotiations with interim Grand Master Kenth Hamner, aimed at granting the Jedi Order permission to deploy their advanced StealthXs. Daala, instead of being offended, commended his boldness and requested that he seek her consent before expressing his opinions freely in the future; their relationship subsequently improved. Asokaji later entertained the notion that the Jedi themselves were responsible for the assault, a theory that Daala and her Chief of Staff, Wynn Dorvan, viewed with skepticism. Asokaji volunteered to deploy 5,000 marines against the Jedi should Daala desire it, an offer she ultimately declined.
Upon Bwua'tu's recovery of consciousness, Asokaji experienced great joy at his return and was among a select few individuals—including Bwu'tu's relative Eramuth Bwua'tu, Wynn Dorvan, and Leia and Han Solo—who were privy to the knowledge that his cognitive functions remained intact. Aware that he had been the target of a conspiracy, Bwua'tu strategically pretended to suffer from brain damage. Collaborative discussions between Dorvan and Bwua'tu concerning recent events, particularly the coup that led to Daala's removal from power, led them to conclude that Bwua'tu's successor, Admiral Sallinor Parova, was implicated in the conspiracy. Aided by Han Solo, Asokaji abducted Parova and confined her within the Jedi Temple. There, Dorvan, Bwua'tu, and Asokaji subjected Parova to interrogation, but she refused to divulge any information. Shortly after their departure, she met her demise at the hands of members belonging to the Lost Tribe of Sith.
