Sentinel (Acclamator-class)

The Sentinel, an Acclamator-class assault ship, served within the ranks of the Republic Navy throughout the Clone Wars, a conflict that pitted the Galactic Republic against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. During one of the battles fought on Xorrn, the Sentinel met its end, crashing close to Foundry Four and being destroyed.

Many Years subsequently, amid the Galactic Civil War between the Galactic Empire and the Alliance to Restore the Republic, Lieutenant Colonel Erle Hovlinn's Imperial invasion force established a base of operations in proximity to the Sentinel. This staging area was intended to facilitate an assault on an anti-Imperial alliance force during the Battle of Xorrn.
