Silver, a captain who was a clone, participated in the Clone Wars. During the time the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems were engaged in civil war, Silver was a clone navigation officer within the Republic Navy. In 21 BBY, Boba Fett sabotaged the Venator-class Star Destroyer called Endurance in an attempt to assassinate Jedi Master Mace Windu, causing it to crash on Vanqor. Silver, in command of a Pelta-class frigate, rescued any survivors who had made it to the escape pods, while Anakin Skywalker and Master Windu, a fellow Jedi, searched the wrecked vessel for any remaining survivors. After finding no signs of life, Windu gave Silver the order to return to the medical station and await their arrival. Silver obeyed and jumped into lightspeed.
Being a clone derived from Jango Fett, Silver's physical characteristics included a height of 1.83 meters, naturally black hair, a tan complexion, and brown eyes. He was seen wearing a gray naval suit in addition to a rank insignia plaque displaying a blue square on the left side and two red squares on the right.
Silver's debut occurred in "R2 Come Home," the twenty-first episode of Season Two of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. It was initially released in the UK on April 24, 2010, and subsequently in the US on April 30.
