The Skirmish on Coruscant involved Ben Skywalker, Jaina Solo, and Leia Organa Solo in a mission to Coruscant. This event occurred in 41 ABY, and its purpose was to uncover Darth Caedus' plans and leverage that knowledge to unseat the Sith Lord.
The three Jedi Knights journeyed to the Monument Plaza located on Coruscant to rendezvous with Galactic Alliance Guard Captain Lon Shevu. Their goal was to obtain intel on the rogue Chief of State. Shevu was still trusted by Caedus and highly regarded, making him a likely source of information regarding Caedus' whereabouts. The Jedi discreetly entered the plaza, disguised as an Arkanian aristocrat, an Elomin administrative assistant, and a Codru-Ji dancer, respectively. Skywalker approached Captain Shevu, while the Solos remained nearby, prepared to intervene if necessary.
Shevu, also in disguise, met with Skywalker and informed him that Caedus (referred to as Three-Eye to maintain secrecy) was consolidating his control over the Imperial Remnant's dominion over the asteroids at Roche, and the Remnant itself. However, unbeknownst to Skywalker, they were under observation by two Rodians who were conspicuously attempting to appear as tourists. When Ben noticed them reaching into their tunics, he realized their cover had been blown.
Skywalker pushed Shevu, intending to create the impression that he was resisting arrest, allowing Shevu to remain on Coruscant as an informant. He fired his [blaster](/article/blaster-legends] randomly, and Shevu reciprocated, both maintaining their charade. Ben then attempted to flee, only to find an armor-clad woman with blonde hair and a lightsaber sprinting towards him, followed by a group of GAG commandos.
Acting on his GAG training, Skywalker moved away from his Jedi allies, hoping that Jaina and Leia could escape. He quickly sent a message to the Jedi transport Sweet Time relaying Caedus' location and the impending capture of himself and Shevu. At that moment, Tahiri caught up with him, and a brief fight ensued. After exchanging several blows, Ben was surrounded by Tahiri's GAG troopers. He activated his lightsaber and deflected the initial blaster fire, but Tahiri struck him repeatedly in the back, causing him to lose consciousness.
As Tahiri and her shock troops were placing Ben and the unconscious Shevu into a Doomsled, Jaina approached Leia, noticing the two Rodians being loaded into a med-wagon. Using acting skills and Force suggestions on officers Tobyl and Jat'ho, the Solos seized control of the med-wagon. After ejecting the unfortunate Bith pilot, they pursued Tahiri in the skies. Initially taking a different route to avoid suspicion, they accelerated after the GAG Doomsled once out of sight.
Driving at high speed, nearly colliding with a Squib in an air taxi, they began to close the gap with the GA squad. As the two Rodians in the med-wagon started to regain consciousness, Organa Solo administered more sedatives to keep them subdued. The Jedi approached the Galactic City SpeedPipe, following Tahiri, but sensed that the situation was too straightforward. Their suspicions were confirmed when Tahiri activated a gas trap.
Jaina and Leia managed to survive the gas using various methods. However, they realized that Veila intended to trap them in a controlled environment, and that she had been aware of Shevu's double agent status for some time. She had employed torture and attempted seduction to extract the location of the Jedi's secret base from Ben Skywalker, who resisted her efforts, leading to Shevu's death. Forced to abandon Ben, they fled the planet.
Skywalker later escaped captivity with the assistance of Taryn and Trista Zel, Hapan twin sisters, but not before enduring torture at the hands of SD-XX. Shevu died from heart failure after Tahiri used Force lightning on his chest. Their goal was to locate the secret Jedi base.
Grand Master Luke Skywalker revealed to his sister and niece that he had foreseen Ben's capture but sent him nonetheless. His intention was to disrupt Caedus' [Force visions](/article/force_vision-legends], preventing the Sith Lord from realizing that Jaina, his twin sister, was coming for him instead of the Grand Master.
