Skyhoppers represented a class of repulsorlift vehicles. Their construction focused mainly on recreational and competitive aviation. On occasion, however, lightly armored and armed skyhoppers found use within law enforcement agencies and paramilitary groups for duties such as patrolling and reconnaissance.
