Sogan Varga

The Human male technician, Sogan Varga, existed during the era of the Galactic Civil War.

Biography

During 1 ABY, an accident occurred on the planet Dathomir at the Imperial Research and Prison Facility, and Sogan Varga was there. The Blackwing virus being studied at the facility broke free, devastating the local population and transforming them into ravenous undead beings. Subsequently, the Galactic Empire quickly established a Quarantine Zone in an attempt to contain the spreading infection. Sogan Varga was among the few who managed to survive the initial outbreak, but he found himself trapped inside the Quarantine Zone. The remaining survivors established various camps to defend against the relentless zombie attacks and to seek safety while awaiting rescue.

Varga sought refuge in Camp Epsilon. This was the most dangerous camp, since it was located in the courtyard of the Imperial Research and Prison Facility, the place where lived the most dangerous undeads. Other survivors present at the camp included Zsu Val, a former prisoner; Nils Cridmeen, a mechanic; Klex Fulgor, an Inquisitor; and the stormtroopers GT-643, KD-121, and HX-138.

Later on, a spacer arrived at Camp Epsilon, delivering a radio to Sogan Varga. This radio had been sent by Jeb Maris, an Imperial pilot stationed at Camp Alpha, who had decided to facilitate communication between the different camps. With radios now distributed to all five camps within the Quarantine Zone, the survivors could effectively coordinate high-altitude supply drops from outside the infected area.

In a separate event, a group of spacers assisted the refugees from Camp Epsilon in repairing a damaged Lambda-class shuttle that was located at the camp. Ultimately, the survivors, along with the spacers, managed to escape the Quarantine Zone using the repaired shuttle.
