The Soikan conflict, which is also referred to as the Soikan civil war, took place on the planet Soika in the High Republic Era. This war involved several different groups of the Soikan species, such as the Livtak Union, the Gagic Alliance, and the Soika Liberation Force. Velko Jahen, a former soldier who fought for the Gagics during the conflict, ultimately departed Soika to serve the Galactic Republic on the Starlight Beacon space station. The war saw the utilization of trench warfare tactics. Prior to her association with the Nihil, Doctor Zadina Mkampa had a role in this war.
