The Sphere of Military Command represented one of the five distinct Spheres of Influence within the rebuilt Sith Empire, which was brought into being by Empress Darth Acina following the Eternal Empire conquest. This particular Sphere consolidated the roles previously held by the Spheres of Defense of the Empire, Military Offense, and Military Strategy, and it was under the direction of Dark Council member Darth Krovos.
The defensive and offensive military actions of the Sith Empire were the responsibility of the Sphere of Military Command, a center of power within the Empire. Empress Darth Acina created it to decrease the internal conflict among members of the Dark Council; it became one of the five seats that took the place of the previous twelve Spheres of Influence. Darth Krovos was the leader of this Sphere.
