Following the Nihil's assault on Trymant IV, the Star Hopper was sent to provide aid, given its proximity as the nearest Jedi or Galactic Republic starship.
A subtle reference to the Star Hopper occurred initially within the 2021 novel, The High Republic: Light of the Jedi. Its initial appearance was in Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures, specifically issue number one. Originally, in the script for The High Republic (2021) 1, Yoda called the Star Hopper by the name Crimson Shred.
