Stiper, a Balosar male engaged in criminal activities, became a member of the crew that Ochi, a Jedi hunter, put together in 21 ABY. The purpose of this crew was to locate a young girl and transport her to the planet of Exegol. Following Ochi's journey to Nightside in the Therezar system to kill Zargo Anaximander, the regent-captain of the station, Stiper was on Ochi's ship, the Bestoon Legacy. This occurred after the girl, along with her family, had fled on Anaximander's ship. Upon Ochi's return to the Bestoon Legacy, he discovered that the captain of the Droid Crush Pirates of Bestoon, whom Ochi had tasked with capturing the girl but had failed, had secretly boarded Ochi's ship with the intention of killing him, due to the destruction of his own crew on Nightside. After Ochi eliminated the droid, Stiper ridiculed him for having placed trust in it. Subsequently, Ochi accused Stiper of accepting a bribe from the droid to facilitate its boarding and then killed him using a Sith dagger.
