Tacks




CC-2801, known as Tacks, held the rank of Clone Commander within the Grand Army of the Republic. He participated in the Clone Wars, a conflict between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. As a commander, he was commanding_officer of a regiment composed of clone troopers.

Biography

On the planet of Kamino, CC-2801 was cloned from the DNA of Jango Fett. Fett, a bounty hunter, served as the template for the clone trooper army. CC-2801 eventually became known as Tacks and rose to the military rank of Clone Commander. Tacks led a regiment as part of the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars, a galactic war between the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Galactic Republic.

Personality and traits

Tacks, like all troopers in the Galactic Republic's clone army, was a clone derived from Jango Fett. This meant he was a human male with a height of 1.83 meters, black hair, and tan skin.

Equipment

Tacks in phase I armor

Initially, Tacks utilized phase I clone trooper armor, later upgrading to phase II clone trooper armor. He modified both iterations of his clone trooper armor by adding macrobinoculars and a black pauldron to his armor.

Behind the scenes

In the multiplayer modes of Star Wars Battlefront II, which was released in 2017 by EA Digital Illusions CE, Motive Studios, and Criterion Games, Tacks provides the voice for the Galactic Republic. Dee Bradley Baker provided the voice for Tacks, as he did for all clone troopers in the game and in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television show. Jay Ingram, the EA Community manager, confirmed the correct spelling of his nickname on his Twitter account.
