Thanlis Depallo was a politician of the human race and male sex who represented the planet of Commenor as a senator within the New Republic's Galactic Senate. Approximately thirty years following the Battle of Endor, he was on Hosnian Prime when it hosted the Senate; he died when the First Order's superweapon, known as Starkiller Base, obliterated the entire Hosnian system. He possessed fair skin and gray hair. During his time on Hosnian Prime, he was seen wearing black boots and a purple surcoat indicative of his senatorial office.
Depallo's initial appearance took place in the 2015 film, Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens. Although unnamed in the movie itself, his name was revealed in Star Wars: The Force Awakens: The Visual Dictionary, a companion book authored by Pablo Hidalgo that was launched concurrently with the film.
