The office of the Archivist was a specific room located on the Vermillion, the Fortress-Flagship belonging to Crimson Dawn. "The Archivist" utilized this space when she acted as Lady Qi'ra's advisor. Her advice pertained to matters of the Force and the Sith, during Qi'ra's efforts to eliminate the Sith Lords Darth Sidious and Darth Vader. Following her recruitment by Qi'ra, the Archivist conducted research within this office, seeking information about Jedi Grandmaster Yoda. Qi'ra believed that Yoda had survived the Great Jedi Purge and that he could provide assistance in achieving her objectives.
Between the years of 3 ABY and 4 ABY, the Archivist occupied her office when she dispatched a message to Kho Phon Farrus, an archaeologist, regarding the acquisition of the Spark Eternal, an artifact originating from the Ascendant cult. Subsequently, while the Archivist was present in her office, Doctor Chelli Lona Aphra, a rogue archaeologist who was, at that time, under the Spark Eternal's control, entered the office. Her purpose was to retrieve additional Ascendant technology stored aboard the Vermillion. The Spark managed to acquire the Ascendant's Null Blade from the office. However, it was then cornered within the office by a team organized by Sana Starros, a smuggler, who aimed to rescue Aphra.
