Plot summary

The cartographer, Emil Graf, found himself evading First Order stormtroopers. Simultaneously, he instructed BB-00, affectionately known as "Boo," to prepare the Star Herald for immediate departure. Aboard the starship, CR-8R, or "Crater," was in the process of cataloging his memory spheres. Suddenly, Noni, the Kowakian monkey-lizard, unexpectedly pounced and launched an attack on the stormtroopers. Capitalizing on the resulting chaos, the Star Herald swiftly took off from the planet.

Graf then made contact with his great aunt, Lina Graf, informing her of his discovery of the Lost Library of Nelgenam. Lina expressed her astonishment, as she believed the Nihil had destroyed the library. Emil explained that he had obtained the library's coordinates from a data card recently pilfered from the First Order. Despite Lina's warning to exercise caution, Emil's excitement for the impending adventure overshadowed any apprehension.

Upon landing near the library's location, they commenced their trek toward the ruins. Graf attempted to force the doors open, but Crater intervened just in time, preventing a potentially fatal incident involving falling boulders. As Graf illuminated the area with his glowrod, he discovered that all the holobooks had vanished from the library.

Suddenly, wreck-weavers ambushed Boo, ensnaring the droid in their sticky webs. Graf quickly realized that light repelled the creatures. After successfully freeing Boo, Noni rushed towards Graf, exhibiting clear signs of distress. Moments later, imposing librarian droids materialized, cautioning Graf about the excessive noise level within the library and brandishing their weapons.
