Theenes

Peche Theenes rejunited Leia Organa brought about the reunion of the villages of Theenes and Peche. Theenes, a walled settlement, existed on the planet named Krant. This city was located east of Peche, its neighboring city, separated by a sizable chasm. Three robust bridges provided connection between the two cities. Among its features, Theenes included a Command center, a Research Center, numerous prefab shelters, and farms. During 0 ABY, Theenes and Peche faced the threat of complete destruction when the Galactic Empire established two military encampments, Sagol and Kaxol. The Empire's goal was to eliminate Rebel operations within the two Krantian cities by demolishing the bridges that linked them to the mainland.

However, Princess Leia Organa, alongside the Jedi Echuu Shen-Jon, spearheaded an assault from a Krantian village. They successfully destroyed one of the Imperial camps, which compelled the other to retreat. Consequently, Theenes and Peche joined forces and pledged their support to the Rebel Alliance.

Production Notes

Theenes is a location featured in the 2001 video game, Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds, specifically within the Leia Organa campaign. The game's 2002 expansion, Clone Campaigns, also includes this campaign. The player has a choice between destroying Sagol or Kaxol; since this decision is purely based on gameplay, this article maintains neutrality regarding that choice. While only one camp needs to be destroyed to complete the mission, the game's strategy guide, published prior to the game's release, suggests that players should target Kaxol, the closer of the two camps.
